Give my creation life!
It’s been awhile since I posted an update but now getting near “pulling the switch” for the first time. Joints of my track have been soldered and I have almost completed placing the 18 gauge feeder wires. Probably a little overkill towards flawless running but have feeders to each separate track section and my locomotives will have current keepers installed.
Hopefully I will have enough time this Christmas break to run the bus lines, connect the wiring, and performing a test run.

December Update
Hello,
today I uploaded the December Update to Youtube. During the last few months not much happend to my modelrailroad projects. But last October some friends and I spend a weekend in Berlin to built about 20 curved modules to FREMO N-RE standards. After these I spend a few days in the Harz Mountain region and took a trip on the HSB (Harzer Schmalspurbahn) from Gernrode to Wernigerode and back.

Let’s build an O scale Trolley Truck!
For those of you who have been following along with my “Scratch building a Trolley Snow Plow” blog entry, this project is not, in fact, directly related. Think of it more as a little side project. Wheras the other blog deals with the project of building an entire double truck Wason snow plow, this blog is going to focus on a single trolley truck, for another car. Stay tuned...
3D Printing ADM - Update
Well printing and assembling the ADM elevator has been a time consuming process. So far I have created drawings for 175 individual objects which were all printed on a 3D printer. Although the elevator is not a faithful reproduction of the prototype it is close to it. I found that trying to reproduce all of the detail was near impossible.
Trying to build something this complex has been a real learning experience, I have found a lot of ways to not do something. If I were to do it again there are features of the model I would do differently.
Track Diagram for Ops - Update on What I Have So Far
There's more to come. Plan on having another individual one for the staging yard. These will be printed on regular 5X9 paper and a copy given to each yard or road crew as appropriate. Note this will also be in addition to basic physical track diagrams on the fascia.
