Digitrax with PSX circuit breakers problem resolved (hopefully).

Digitrax using PSX circuit breakers (CB).

During operating sessions, while several trains were running, sometimes all the CB's would start flashing on and off shutting down the entire layout until the short was corrected.

It took me awhile but I was, finally, able to recreate the problem.  I put an engine on each power block district that each CB was controlling and then put a quarter in each block until the problem occurred.

I emailed Larry Meier at DCC specialties and he gave me a few things to try.

Ashland Ore Dock

A friend and I are going to be making a model of the Ashland ore dock that was located in Ashland Wisconsin until it was torn down. So far we have gotten 195 original blueprints of the dock and the approach.

IAIS's West End - Grade crossings to nowhere?

I shot this pic the month before I model, with the lava rock hopper being my primary focus.

Norfolk Southern now AGW F Units up on the block.

My brother is moving in with us and I’m thinning out some of my AGW locos as I downsize my layout and make room for some of his stuff.  I’ve had these in a display case for 24 years.  It time for someone else to enjoy them. Western Railway EBay Corporation  has the contract for disposing of of the equipment.  If you are interested check it out at.  Each loco is available in separate auctions.

San Diego & Arizona 2-8-0 #104 - Commission Project

Greetings,

I have posted on MRH before about my model of Buffalo Creek & Gauley locomotive which I modeled sing LEGO. Not long after finishing that model, I received a request for a quote for a similarly sized locomotive. Long story short, here is my completed model.

The Ft Worth Sub LIVES!!

Well the first spur is in and occupied on the Ft Worth Sub. Man, more to go but its a start. So far the mainline and passing siding are also in and wired up. I can finally run from staging to this area ans switch out some cars. I thought this day would never get here. I would like to say thank you to everybody that helped me get here. The saga continues.

G&D Sorethroat Branchline Mk3

Hello, it's been some time since my last update on my G&D plan. Due to the housemove last year I had to scrap the beginnings of my Sorethroat Branchline Mk2 layout. I was only able to start tracklaying in the fiddle yard. But now with some time gone I started on planing the new version. The new layout should be a homage to John Allens layout. But with less space,  I don't want to copy his layout. So I set my layout further north. So in the Northern Californian or Oregon area. My room is roughly 4x4 meters.

Who does a craftsman style rounshouse in HO

I am after around 6 stalls for my round house. I am adter ideas on what is out there that is great.

It is for mainline steam locos, a mix of atsf, great northearn, southern pacific and Union pacific at our model club, and as this is one of the first areas you see when entering the club, so it needs to be a great focal point.

Suggestions and links and ideas please.
