Looking for EMD cab plans

Looking for plans so I can  build a full size EMD standard cab for my P I Engineering AAR control stand. Cab style would be the GP-35/40/45 standard cab from the 60's era. Also need the interior plans for control stand and seat placement. Have searched the net and so far no success. ----   Ken

Another unknown NG RR

paint question

I live in a rural area, the nearest hobby shop is a Michaels 30 miles away. I get paint when I go to California to visit family. I have a turntable pit to paint, what acrylic paint would you use for concrete?

Railroad Patch Collection

These used to belong to my Great Grandfather and I am pretty sure most of them were actually from the railroads. I was given these for Christmas and also have a few more in storage. If anyone else has a collection it would be cool if you posted it here. Lets see how many we can get.

10 to start it off.

NASA Sunsets Their Railroad

Ok, so this isn't strictly a model railroad topic, but I found it interesting, and such a railroad could easily be the inspiration for a layout. NASA had its own railroad, used for hauling segments of the space shuttle boosters to the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building). They just sold off the last two locomotives, EMD SW1500's.

Question about RR depots

Most old-fashioned railroad depots I've seen have a bay window sort of thing on the side facing the tracks. If the station is located between two tracks, would it have a bay window on both sides?
