Plan for Intermodal Yard -Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

After a few days of "trial and error" I have decided on a final design for the Intermodal Yard on my layout, The Trenton Subdivision in N scale.

I decided to keep to the basics to create a modest intermodal area capable of both container and trailer operations without taking over the entire layout. I used AnyRail 6 to design the schematic.

Starting an Intermodal Yard on my Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

Comments/suggestions wanted. Taking advantage of some "free" time over the holidays, I have roughed in the area that I planned for an Intermodal Yard on my layout. Follow the Cascade Sub on Facebook

With less than a week away from my big push to complete the mainline on my Cascade Sub, I wanted to share some outlets for following along with the progress on this and future projects. Daily updates will be posted on the railroad's new Facebook page: @upcascadesub while a more complete update and projects overviews will continue to be posted on the MRH blog and on the railroad's blogspot page (upcascadesub.blogspot.com).

Gosh it sure has been a while, hasn't it!

My, how time flies! It feels like almost forever ago that I last logged into the MRH site. I didn't get tired of the wonderful MRH community, and I doubt I ever will, with such a wonderful crowd! No, the main contributor was my personal life- I don't wish to go into too many details, but I have spent the past few years struggling with a number of issues- some more temporary, others that will likely remain with me for life.
