My, how time flies! It feels like almost forever ago that I last logged into the MRH site. I didn't get tired of the wonderful MRH community, and I doubt I ever will, with such a wonderful crowd! No, the main contributor was my personal life- I don't wish to go into too many details, but I have spent the past few years struggling with a number of issues- some more temporary, others that will likely remain with me for life.

It's been hard to dedicate as much time as I would have liked to the things that I love, but it has been even harder still, to remain connected to the people I enjoy being in correspondence with. When I was going through harder points, I had to step back a bit and put less energy into some of the things I wanted to do, and then forgot to return to them when I felt ready to take more on again.

This isn't to say it's been all bad though! Truth be told, many wonderful, wonderful things have happened over the past year and several months, since I last posted anything here on my MRH blog! I've still been plenty active with my trains, and my self-taught toy train repair skills only continue to improve with each piece of equipment I work on. And there have been many new pieces of equipment added to the roster, let me tell yah.

It's in the wee hours of the morning here in New England, and I'm realizing I miss MRH a lot. So here I am, hopefully without another gigantic hiatus! I'm looking forwards to getting reacquainted with all the wonderful folx here, and perhaps sharing more tales with you all of my toy train nonsense. I've gradually been growing more and more fond of traction modeling, and I'm hoping to start moving towards building up (literally) a fleet of O scale trolley cars that can share tracks with my toy trains, but later on in time perhaps have their own dedicated layout.

But enough! I should be in bed, getting rest for another busy day! I'll be seeing you all around, so look forwards to having this train nut back in the forums once more! Until the next post, this is Leverettrailfan, signing out for the night (or very early morning depending how you look at it)!
