Modeling general discussion

How do you include a PDF in a post that has been uploaded to the MRH servers?
From time to time I'd like to make a web post here that contains a link to a PDF that I'm uploaded to the MRH servers. Is there a way to do this, and if so, how? Thanks!

Short video of #841 F7 on the Richlawn RR
It's not much, but it's something....... 45 seconds of my F7 #841 running by where I've been working on scenery. Yes, there is MUCH more to do in this area. I shot this with my iPhone 4s and it's not edited.

When a modeler passes away.
With the average age of modelers being on the high side and many former members of our club recently passing on I thought I would start a thread regarding what we can do as a group for the survivors when one of our own passes away. Keeping in mind that there are many things that can be going through the widows mind at this time and getting rid of his trains and layout is like another funeral. There are lots of sentimental attachments to things that may or may not be of value monetarily.

Google and Bing Satellite Maps
Love all the reference material that can be found using the various satellite shots. My question is, is there a way to determine the age of a satellite photo on Google or Bing?

Snowplow with labels
Is this snowplow appropriate for the year 1974? If not, when did these double type black labels appear on rolling stock?

Curve Ball
I know that in the past we were talking about the LHS dying. I found this video of this huge train store and they only sale trains in Nebraska in the the middle of no-where and it seems a success.

Like an old wise man told me once..."if you can or if you can't, you're right.

Blast from the past - a historic video of the original BC&SJ layout
I was digging through piles of old video tapes and discovered some of the original, 4x8, Bear Creek & South Jackson. They're not HD digital quality (shot on 8mm and Hi-8), but if you've been reading my Up the Creek column, you might find a trip into history interesting. This is how the layout looked in 1998 and 1999.
