What glue to use for weights in Accurail HO Boxcars?

I used CA in a pinch even though I didn't think it would hold. I was right.  First little minor bump of the car and the weight is rattling around inside. Now I'm thinking something more flexible like latex caulk but thought I'd ask here for ideas. Looking for suggestions of stuff that would be available around the house or at the corner store. Already thought of something like Walthers GOO but don't have any on hand and there are no LHS in my area to get such things.

Ethanol Plant Model

Overhead viewThis is a overhead view of an ethanol plant model that the Dakota Southeastern Division of the NMRA just finished for the American Ethanol Association. It has taken us about a year to make it, one big problem was finding all the parts. We had to make two models of Wilson grain trucks and received help from LoneStar Models with three of the fine reproduction of the Wilson grain trailer.

Ceramic magnets around Engines and DCC - N scale

So I have a nolix (modified helix) and after having engines and rolling stock falling off with problem track (I created the problem) that I am slowly correcting, I thought I better put up some kind of barrier to prevent the falls.  Fortunately the entire room including the nolix area has heavy tight pile rug which as prevented any damage but I don't want to push my luck.

Grain Elevator NFB (National Film Board - Canada)

Here is a video I've circulated before but its a golden oldie and I know you will enjoy it.  For some, you'll find this short 15 minute min-documentary valuable for your grain operations.

Looking for HO Train Station

Hi

I am looking for information in regards to a HO Train Station I will be installing on my layout. The issue I am having is that I cannot find a kit  that look  suitable . I might do some kitbashing to get close [enough] to the real thing, which is fine.

The original is a turn of the century station of the Intercontinental rr and it has been modified (roof line) over the years. It's an all brick building. The roof pitch is the signature of the station.

San Diego Model RR Museum

I'm going to be in San Diego over Labor Day weekend.  I'd love to be able to get to get to run a train at the Model RR Museum, on ANY of the layouts there.

Does anybody on these forums have an 'in' at the museum?

I'd greatly appreciate any opportunity!

Thanks in advance.

Kato turntable

See that this item is now on the market and thinking of investing. Converting to unitrack N and it is great. Have been thinking of a turntable for a while and Kato do put out great products.Only have one steamer {Mikado} so far.Use DCC but all indications are that it will be OK with that. Anyone have any views on this item?
