Derailment in Saskatchewan - some interesting things to note...

There was a derailment in Saskatchewan yesterday, where 24 cars came of the track and
piled up in horrific ways.

I just thought about the wonderful job many folks do in their modeling efforts as well as their Blogging efforts as well.

?? Figures for an Ice House Platform??

Anyone have a suggestion for figures for an ice house platform. I seem to remember seeing some somewhere loading ice into reefers. Or was that a dream I had?

Appreciate any leads and/or suggestions.

I have a module base built and have an idea for what to put on it. One of the things I want to add is a station. Not just any station, but a close facsimile to the station at Sprakers, NY. Sprakers is basically what the module track plan will contain.

Recently the NYCSHS posted a track plan of Sprakers in their "Headlight" journal, and I thought it was just the thing to get me going.

I have three pictures of similar stations. It's going to have to be scratch built.

Here's a new "What's on Your Workbench" for the middel of July. Anybody's free to start the next one in a week.

Here's what's clogging up my bench.

Finishing up "Critter #1" for shipment to a new owner. Added the air tanks. Needs the plumbing added.

Apologies up front about this rambling commentary......

I've started to look at my life as a book with different chapters. As an example, I used to be into cars (had a 32' Plymouth streetrod), then into camping (had a popup camper) then into boating (had a 17 ft run-about).....you get the idea.
