Modeling general discussion

Status of Model Citizen Video Project?

Has anyone seen anything published on the progress of the Model Citizen video project?  I've checked their website several times since they reached their funding goal of $30,000 earlier this year but have seen nothing on their progress since they met their funding goal.  Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.  Does anyone have an active website for them that shows their progress?

Michael Rose's Breitenbach-Rosenheim RR video of a run-through 12/5/14

Can't decide what scale you want between HO and N?  That was Michael Rose's problem so after switching scales a couple of times he hit upon a great solution - have both scales!  I've already posted a video of his N scale layout so this video is of his HO scale German layout - the Breitenbach-Rosenheim.  When I visited on 12-5-14 he was kind enough to run around a doodlebug (the Germans call it something else) on his layout.  I hope that you enjoy the brief video!

Iconic Modeling Projects...

Does each prototype railroad have an iconic modeling project, and if so, what is it?

Michael Rose's Georgetown & Allen Mountain RR run-through 12/5/14

Some of you had requested some video of Michael's layout with trains running.  This video isn't great quality but it does show a passenger train running on Michael's N scale layout and it's looking good!

T-TRAK om Arizona

Hi Folks;

   I tried once before to see if anyone in Arizona was interested in a T-TRAK group. I'd built one module and was hoping others here would have some we could put together and run trains. No one here seems interested, so I built enough modules for my own layout. It's up and running with scenery. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Be nice to have friends to run trains together.

DCC programming at Springfield show

I know that Tony's Train Exchange will be at the Springfield train show and they can load sound projects into ESU decoders.  I was wondering if there are going to be any other vendors attending who can do this.  I need an decoder reprogrammed with a different sound project.

Aberfoyle Junction Video

Aberfoyle Junction is the layout that really got me hooked on model railroading. While in their original location, in the late 1970's I accidently discovered this layout. A young 9 year old me was dragged by my parents to an antique market in Aberfoyle, just outside of Guelph, Ontario. I had no idea at the time that on the second floor of a barn on the property was this incredible O scale layout, fully operating! Needless to say, I was hooked for life after watching it all for several hours, mesmerized.
