Video of Southern New England Ry
I just posted a short video with some clips I shot during the operating session on my home layout yesterday. Available through YouTube:
I need to work a little on the sound editing - it's proving to be more of a challenge than I expected!
Moderator note: Embedded the video player inline.

Some SD7 and ALCo action
Here's an indulgent YouTube video from yesterday's club meet. (The music is to cover up the background booming voices of other club members - and you can always turn it down.)
Thanks for looking.

Great work everyone last week! Time to start of this week's photo thread!
As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!

Minuteman Scale Models?
I placed an order with them 2 weeks ago and then emailed them recently (and resent it) and I'm not hearing anything back nor any traction on the order. Any word on issues with them? Closed?
Thanks.

A somewhat indulgent shot of a pair of detailed SD9s and semi-scratchbuilt flanger; all work by Rob Mallett apart from the scratchbuilt icebreakers I contributed to the project.

Hello to all,
HO Scale: Athearn Axle Gears
Hi All:
Some of my older Proto 2000 "Athearn clone" mechanisms have the dreaded axle gear split.
Do any of you know what Athearn part number I need to look for to replace in the 4-axle diesels? Did Athearn's 6-axle and 4-axle diesels use the same axle gear?
Thanks for any input.

Crossing the Main????
After a week away in dreary, humid, rain on me every day Florida, I returned to do a bit of work tonight on the Idaho Belt at the paper mill. I'd been tweaking the track plan for this area because while the prototype mill this layout is based on is on a branch that sees no through traffic inside the mill, my version will. And that makes me wonder about the placement of my power plant spur and the pulpwood spur.

SP SD7 heaven
I've been cleaning up old pictures of some of my SD7 fleet, taken on the old club layout, Anson Yard, six or more years ago, and thought I'd share them.
Thanks for looking.
