Bar Mills Models
What's happening at Bar Mills Models? The web site has been inactive for a few weeks.
Has anyone heard from them recently?
Question for Joe Fugate
I was wondering why Joe Fugates siskiyou line website wasn't working? And when will be working again?
Spamalot
It looks like there's a spammer here who apparently has created multiple user id's and is flogging Cialis and Viagra.

ASKING FOR HELP OF ANY MRH MEMBERS WHO LIVE IN OR NEAR THE NEW JERSEY AREA...
Hi guys,
I'm putting out a call for some assistance for my brother in-law who is currently stuck about 25 miles out of New Jersey. He has been in New York on business and was in New Jersey in a hotel and has since been evacuated from there. He is away from his wife and two girls and like so many is displaced and has little to no food, and is a foreigner.

Here as I promised, my N Scale layout in operation. Recording with my Blackberry Playbook did not do the sound justice, especially the bass. Hope this interests someone.
Wasatch Rails 2012
Went to the Wasatch Rails 2012 in Salt Lake City yesterday. It is a great show and I go almost every year, however this year, I was on a mission. I was looking for covered hoppers suitable for grain service.
Here is what I came away with.
Two Athearn BB 54' Covered hoppers - $7 a piece
Bringing newbies into the hobby
The magazines talk about it and so do we. How to bring more young people into the hobby. The answer starts with introducing them to the hobby. How do we do that?
Well, I have one answer. We can volunteer to be Merit Badge counselors for Railroading Merit Badge for our local Boy Scouts.

Kindle Fire HD and MRH forum issues.
My Kindle Fire HD is trying to keep me from posting these issues with MRH. I just got kicked out right at the moment to submit! So, I have to post this again.
YouTube Videos. I am hoping JoeF can verify this. Railbox306 post a video showing his NS diesel and two tank cars running on his lightweight modules. That displays just fine. Art Houston post a video of the St. Louis Gateway N scale op. That is not okay. What I see, it a big gray block with a puzzle piece in the center. A broken link? I know it is okay on my laptop.
dropped login
Is anyone else getting dropped more frequently than usual? My login seems to get dropped every few hours, often when I switch from one thread to another. It's been happening for the last week or so and is becoming quite frustrating.
