Does anybody know anything about Miller Engineering???
As you proably know, Miller Engineering makes some excellent animated billboards, I have 3 on my layout now and would like to add more.
The issue that popped up is that my latest acquisition, the large Nestle billboard, started loosing it's programming. I have to constantly reprogram it, sometimes it runs for a couple of days, then fails, sometimes just one day and fails.

Weekly Photo Fun - Sep 13-19, 2020
It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.
Merging photo shots of bricks
I use a lot of photos in modeling. I want to copy brick from a photo — so I can get the right, color, pattern etc.
I try to take a small section of the brick and recopy it so I can have a page of the brick. When I copy and place a section of brick in photoshop elements 2020 i can line them up but I cannot get rid of the lines between each block.
I also have Affinity which I am starting to use.
How can I set there blocks side by side and not get lines?
Anybody done this successfully?
FYI - Foothill Model Works evacuated
Hi all,
FYI - I thought it might be a good idea to post this here as a separate topic so that any customers can get a heads-up that will draw attention and hopefully allay some fears as requested below.

Lets see some grey/overcast sky backdrop
I would like to get away from the traditional sky blue and explore a grey or overcast sky. Anybody that has gone in that direction please share your photos.

Diluting Vallejo Model Color to use in an airbrush
Hi Guys:
I have some Model Color paints that I want to dilute to shoot through an airbrush -- can anyone recommend amounts and what to use? does water work, or should I be looking at something else? -- Likewise, I had some latex paint tinted to the color I need and would like to thin it to airbrushable -- again any suggestions?
Thanks

Oregon wildfires threaten Molalla model train park
Happy memories at the Oregon Molalla model train park, it's now threatened by the wildfires.
Molalla is on level 3 evacuation ... leave NOW! Two large fires that have been burning in the foothills of the Cascades are now expected to merge into one massive fire at Molalla on Friday.
Looking for an MR article from 1988
I am looking for an article by Andy Sperandeo which I believe was published in the January 1988 issue of MR. It pertains to the building of a spray booth. Many years ago I built a spray booth but am not sure where the original plans came from. Very likely it was from this article.
Thank you,
Bill
