MRH Magazine general discussion

Chessie "Moonshine Hoppers" question.

Question for Chessie fans out there.  Were the Chessie Moonshine hoppers only the 8 panel 2bay hoppers?  I have searched the entire internet (except the dark web) to find any of these, but no success.  I would like to get some Accurail open hoppers and make about six of them, if any of these hoppers could represent a moonshine hopper.  Thanks.

Faller Expert vs. Super Expert glue

I have two Faller glues, Expert and SUPER Expert, and use them both, and both work very well. HOWEVER, I use them randomly, without real thought of which is which. I searched the Faller website, and Googled both glue names and vs. searches, and have yet to find out the difference between the two. I have found a few posts that Super Expert dries faster, but no confirmation of that, nor can I confirm that.

Doing a hard copy MRH magazine

Every so often we get an email from someone new who wants us to "mail them" a sample copy of the magazine, or who wants "old back issues" of MRH to put out on a table at swap meets ...

What they don't realize, of course, is that MRH is only digital and that's a key reason we can make it free. There is no "hard copy" version of MRH.

Make It Run Like a Dream

Joe,

I complement you on you work on this book Make It Run Like a Dream. There are some real jewels in it. Some of what was there I knew from past experience or having seen elsewhere. You did say that this was a compilation of material and knowledge that heretofore had not been assembled in one place.
