Masking putty for glazing on plastic structures?

Is there a "masking putty" made for masking off small areas on plastic models? I have quite a few built-up N-scale Kato apartment buildings with lots of small windows that I would like to spray-paint. The glazing appears glued on and doesn't seem to easily pop out (maybe they do, I was just afraid of breaking it). I suppose I could use small squares of Tamiya masking tape, but I thought someone made a malleable masking putty of some sort. Thanks!

COSCOL: East Coast Short Line Railroad Company

Hi All,

As well as planning the track layout for my new industrial shelf switching layout I have been developing the back story to the railroad that operates there. I wanted to have a fully rounded layout that had good reasons for being there. It may not have existed but it could have.

Creating a 3D Print of an Illinois Traction System freight motor

After having successfully 3D printed an ITS Rodger's ballast hopper car, I needed something to pull it.  Therefore I am attempting to create a 3D printed model of the Illinois Traction System's freight motors #1063-1067.  The image below shows #1065 and then #1064.  These are both from the collection of Mr. Dale Jenkins.

Building a new Apartment Layout in N-Scale

I've began construction of a modern era n-scale layout in a two bedroom apartment. The bench work is complete and I am now tying to hammer out the track plan. I will be using Kato Unitrack and have been designing the track plan in RailModeler PRO for Mac, which is working great.

I plan to include a small yard and engine facility, a wood chip/timber loading facility, an Amtrak/passenger station and a additional rail severed industry TBA.

Repairing a Bachmann 2-10-4 Texas Chugger

Hello everybody,

I recently bought a broken Bachmann 2-10-4 Texas Chugger, and decided to repair it. I also filmed it and made a video, so I decided to share it here in case anyone was interested. Let me know what you think. For whatever reason, movie maker did not like the input and sort of messed up the audio and made some sections of the video choppy. The sound is much cleaner when heard in person. Keep in mind that i'm an amateure, so take EVERYTHING I say with a grain of salt. :)

MU, Brake, Sand, and Other Hoses

Hi everyone,

I am detailing an SD45 and was looking for information on mu hoses for locomotives during the 1960's and 1970's. I have found a lot of general information on what locomotives have but not a visual of each hose and it's purpose. Here is a picture, could someone markup it up or point me to a good resource that shows these details such as a schematic drawing?

Thanks.
