East Coast Circuits Grade Crossing Flasher
In getting my layout up and running, completing the last major scenery work, I was ready to invite other operators in to see and operate the layout. I still have some details to add, but one thing I needed was to put the grade crossing signals into operation. I did not have the signals operational at the recording of this video.
the pain. (NWSL closing)
well from what i have heard and read, NWSL is shutting down.
sad day for everyone. including the owner as his wife has passed away.
i pray some company does pick this up and keep it going, as i am not one who will make them rich, but i do have a number of re-power projects coming on line over the next couple - three years, where i will need NWSL products.
hay kadee hear this. one great company buy's another.

MINIWORLD ROTTERDAM LAYOUT VISIT
A trip to The Netherlands visiting the spring flower expo's (read Tulips) and a stop at Mini World in Rotterdam.
A most enjoyable layout. Well build and operated. Lots of details and a typical 'Holland' scene.
Enjoy the photo's.
Train speeds and views.
On a German ICE train between Hamburg and Munich I was impressed with the speed we were going on the ground. I know there are faster trains. This is by far the fastest I have ever ridden. The ride was very smooth and quiet as well. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
172 mph!!!
Displaying my passenger train
My branch line terminus layout can only fit a short passenger train. So I got out all my cars and put them on the inglenook to display them and to photograph them.
I have no idea if the sleeper car and coaches are in the proper positions.

I am not looking to sell anything on here but I do need some advice on where to get good valuations on some 1:20 live steam. A friend's widow is looking to sell some of his collection. I am trying to help her get honest prices for the stuff. I have no idea where to really look to find the value's of these things. Anyone have any suggestions?
