Help need on how to repair this broken off piece of brass?
I broke this whistle off ages ago.
It should go on back like this:

20th Street Viaduct
With the New year a new project. I am modeling Denver in 1959 Rice yard is still in operation. With that comes working out how the backdrop and the foreground will tie together. So I am starting with the roads first up is the 20th Street Viaduct. I have some photos of the old viaduct that was tore down in 1992. I will cut most of the bridge out of MDF on my laser, and some 3D printing. One thing that is of interest is that the UP warehouse was build around one of the bridge pylons. This should be a fun project. The real life photo I got from the Library of Congress.

Need help calculating run-around length
I’m reworking an old track plan, part of which I utilize a run-around. Unfortunately, space is tight and inches count.
I wound like to run-around 58 inches which should allow for 6 cars and a few extra inches. I will use #6 turnouts with track spacing of 2 inches.

IAIS's West End - MOW boom truck kitbash (plus, mystery arms identified)
As I've developed my Atlantic yard office scene , it's become clear that the Engineering/MOW Department's boom truck should play a key role, as Atlantic is the MOW base for the west end of the railroad, so that truck shows up often in photos of the area. While the present-day boom truck is a more recent Sterling purchase, during my May 2005 era, it was a Ford F800. Nothing similar is readily available in HO scale, so I decided to kitbash it, and since other railroads had similar F800s,
Magazine/book Recommendation
I have been model railroading for over 55 years but I try to keep an open mind when it comes to my modeling. I recently was cruising Barnes & Noble for the monthly magazines when I discovered this gem. I also like plastic ship models and have a couple 1/350 WWII ships waiting for "someday".
Fine Scale Modeler magazine has a great book out that has a lot of tricks and helpful techniques we can apply to our choochoo's too. It's called Build Better Ship Models and is well worth looking in to.
Update on the JAM
Due to work constraints its been a while since I have been able to do an update. So here is a year end wrapup to kind of sum up everything that was accomplished in 2019.

Foss Wharf project in N scale part two
Well I open this blog, because the first about Foss wharf in N scale begun to be too big to follow
These are the next steps on the way about the construction of this N scale project
It's just the continuity of the first blog about my Foss Wharf project,
railroad-owned TOFC flat cars of the 1950s
In the mid-1950s, many railroads wanted to implement Plan 2 TOFC, but were cautious about investing funds in new rolling stock. Several adapted existing flat cars. A few were more creative, using underframes from boxcars or hoppers.
Here are two slightly-different cars created by the DL&W, from Flags, Diamonds and Statues, the magazine of the Anthracite Railroads Historical Society:
Help wiring crossover with frog juicers
I received a Peco SL-E383F Scissors Crossover for Christmas and a Frog Juicers is required. Could anyone help me determine the correct juicer to use and show a wiring diagram to connect the 4 wires from the switch?
Thank you in advance.
