Sudden cogging problem with my MRC 1955 decoder -- hmm
Doggone MRC 1955 decoder went wonky last night. Lost all CVs. After I reset everything, now the motor cogs at low RPM and then stalls between speed steps 7 and 21 (128).
I would be grateful for some fresh insight, as no attempts at further resets have solved either issue.
Thanks much,
Paul Schmidt

RailPro users - How do you think Notching should work?
I've been playing around with my RailPro and although I had some problems getting Manual Notching to work properly, I now have it working.
In my mind, I'd like Notching to work differently.
...so I am posting this to get other users feedback and hopefully have something useful to present to Ring Engineering as a possible feature enhancement.
Shelf Progress
Here's my latest update on progress and some better pics. I've finished the Barn wood color on the ties and wil move on to painting the rails next. The Barnwood acrylic color is made by Folk Art, and for the rail color I'm going to use their Rusted Pipe color. The Mississippi Mud I used for the base color is made by Americana.

Best place to buy/sell brass locos and caboose(s) (cabeese?)
Hi, guys-
Looking for an online source for selling brass steam engines and caboose; my (late) uncle has some that he left for me, and unfortunately are not what I am interested in. I'm a modern diesel guy! But, I would like to find out more about them and their worth. So, any place I can look online, beside eBay?
Thanks.

Pullman Palace Car
I am looking at scratch building a private car that Sloss Sheffield Steel & Iron owned, "Alabama." It was rebuilt by the Southern Railway in 1903 from Pullman "Cleopatra."
What I am trying to figure out is what size boards were used for the sides? The car was T&G construction. I can't see in a picture clear enough to count the boards. The car is 63' 10" end to end, not over the buffers.
Does anyone make the windows for Palace cars?

Commercially Available Chemical Totes or IBCs
Does any one know a company that produces HO scale totes (or IBCs in European terms), which are commonly used in chemical plants. Looking for a source so that I can add this level of detail to my chemical plant. Have lots of drums or barrels but looking for totes. Probably easy to produce if only I had a 3D printer.
Suydam Kit #522 Diesel House Instructions
I've recently acquired an old Suydam kit, #522 Diesel House, which is missing the instructions. Does anyone know where I might obtain a copy? I could probably figure it out, but the instructions would be useful. Thanks in advance.

Bachmann RS3 Truck Problems
I just purchased a Bachmann RS3 sound value (with SoundTraxx decoder and sound) last week and as many have commented, it is a very smooth runner and the sound is really nice. After a brief test, I repainted it for my road, then programmed it (adjusting the speed and sound values) and put it into service today.
