Single Stall Engine House Part 2
I had a busy weekend but managed to apply some paint. I was able to get the vintage white applied but ran to into some issues when applying the green for the two tone as you'll see in the images to follow. so I'm a little dissapointed in my paint job and trying to figure out how to resolve the issue before moving on.
First two pics show Vintage White Acrylic applied.

An Actual, For Real, OP SESSION on the BNML
Bob and James, new friends I made through contacts on this forum, were scheduled to come check out the BNML yesterday. Arrive was set for between 4:30 and 5:00 for an evening of runnin' trains. Unfortunately Bob couldn't make it. (I hope you feel better soon!)
I planned to run 2 trains - the normal interchange Run from Winnipeg to Noyes and its US sister, the Noyes BNSF train. I got my paperwork ready and our train was ready to roll into Morris when James arrived.
Atlas GP39-2 parts
Anyone know why Atlas does not list parts for the GP39-2 on their website?
Atlas Parts department has traditionally been a kitbasher's friend and I would love to put together some GP39-2 dummies using Atlas shells and Athearn frames, but they simply don't have the parts listed on the site.

Short video of #841 F7 on the Richlawn RR
It's not much, but it's something....... 45 seconds of my F7 #841 running by where I've been working on scenery. Yes, there is MUCH more to do in this area. I shot this with my iPhone 4s and it's not edited.
ceiling to wall coving
I'm starting a new HO project in a 12 X 24 space. I'm installing drywall on the ceiling and have wondered about the ceiling to wall joints. The walls will be either drywall or 1/8 " MDF. I plan on curving the corners but can't figure out an easy way to curve the wall and ceiling joint. It sounds like it could be a real time consuming pain but the effect would be tremendous.
Has anyone here tried to do this and is there anyone with more info on this subject?
Thanks,
Herb
Peco turnout motors
Maybe there's some ideas out there that you guys can help me out with. I bought a few Peco turnout motors with the extended drive pin, (PL-10E). Thinking that it would be long enough to mount underneath my bench work. With a mounting plate installed on a motor, the drive pin is only about an inch long. Over all with plywood, Styrofoam, cork road bed, and turnouts, (all installed), I need about an inch and three quarters. (1-3/4"). Can the drive pins be changed or added to? What else could be done? Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.

Transfer Terminal Kitbash - Dimensions and Decisions
There's a recent forum thread on the topic of how to dimension a structure from photos, so what follows is a brain dump of how I designed my kitbashed structure. Given I'm not trying for an exact copy -- more like "as close as I can get with Pikestuff parts" -- just how do I decide how big to make this thing, and all the individual bits of it?

Correct covered hoppers
Hi guys,
I'm looking for info for my 1968 - 1970 era short line free lanced RR. What type of covered hoppers would be appropriate for special sand loading, say for glass making or a similar operation.
Thanks! Scott

More updates
I have been working on two jobs here at home. One is the layout and the other is my truck. I have the truck running but need to finish the paint and the side steps yet. also have to find some lower seat pedestals. Getting there for sure.
