Need Some Help - LED Indicator Panel - Mission Accomplished -Thanks
17 August Update: Thanks to everyone that helped point me in the right direction. The panels now work the way that I had intended. I deleted the 150 ohm resistor and added a 1.5K ohm 1/2 watt resistor on the positive leg going to each LED. Everything works now. The video below shows the finished product. Thanks again.
Next project/step
This is just the ties from a P87 stores Ultimate turnout kit. All the other goodies are on the bench. Gonna try a little different thing and build it as a wye. This will go where the northbound and southbound mains meet at Church. A #8 so we should have no troubles with anything going through it, right????

Looking for ideas to produce sage bushes
I'm going to be designing a desert scene on my layout and would like to produce some sage bushes along the tracks. I'm looking at what will work best for this. I've seen all sorts of other bushes but not any sages bushes. What would best. I want to get the colors correct too. Suggestion on what to use?

A little help putting a Genesis GP51-1 shell back on the chassis.
I bought a GP15-1 that was DC only and installed a Tsunami GN1000 (Drop in replacement) and now can't seem to get the shell back on. (No, not speaker interference, can't even get that far). Every thing is tested and all hunky dory... except for getting the shell back on.
I saw a YouTube video about taking the shell off and that was helpful. No luck about finding something about putting it back on. I can't figure out where the problem is. This is the first time I've removed a Genesis shell.
Middle school model RR: benchwork installed
It took a few more weeks but eventually we had all four sections complete and installed. Because the layout had to be lightweight and removable my benchwork design relies on the interaction of many components for rigidity. For example, the backboard is made from a 12” wide strip of 1/8” masonite which contributes a considerable amount to the stiffness when screwed to the panel frames. To protect the blackboard against which the backboard rests I had the kids install self-stick foam weather stripping.
