Source of Cascade Mountain Photos

I'm starting scenery on my N-scale Cascade Southern RR.  I'm looking for a source of photos of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon on which I can base both my 3D landforms and my backdrop scenes.  I have done a preliminary Google search under Cascade Mountains.  Most of the photos I've found are those of the very tall snow-covered peaks in the Cascades.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could suggest a good source of photos of the more typical less dramatic mountain ridges found in the Cascades.

Allagash DVDs online download

Does anyone know why the Allagash Op session downloads don't work on iPad??

i tried downloading it to my iPad, and when I tried to open it, it wouldn't open.   Now I am locked out of the first chapter, due to download attempts, yet when I try the same for the second chapter I get the same thing.

Very frustrating that the email and link you get with your purchase is so vague as to instructions and compatibility.....

Logging switching module

I am starting to design a switching shelf layout for my West Side Lumber Shays. I have a spot in my garage that is 16 feet long and 3 to 4 feet wide. I am re-using some old frames, I have two modules that are 3x6 feet and one is 4x4 feet.

On the left I was going to have a small saw mill and pond, in the center a small yard and in the back a logging camp on the upper right.

The nice thing about shays is that they run real slow, so it makes the layout appear bigger than it is.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks Bill.

Very Cool Commercial

I don't know what I like more about this commercial; the fact that it was done all in-camera, one take with no CGI effects or all the cool model making.  Nice to see the craft aspect of the hobby portrayed so well (the idiot hipster in the Che t-shirt at the end notwithstanding).

Cornhill & Atherton - first video attempt

Ok – first effort at making a video, with a view to getting some feedback to help me improve.

Equipment is a Nikon D5100 and a very old Sanyo Exacti (for the 'in cab' shots) with Sony Movie studio 13 to process .

There’s no attempt at a story here, just a montage of photos and video clips to ‘cut my teeth’ and get some idea of how things work.

What coupler for a NJ International LIRR Long Island P70 coach?

I have a NJ International LIRR Long Island P70 Coach, part number 717K made by F.M. Korea.  This is what it looks like:

Does anyone know what size coupler fits this car?  It came with trucks but no couplers.  There's a coupler mounting pad under the vestibules but I don't know what size shank length to use or whether I need an Underset, Centerset, or Overset shank.

Appreciate any guidance anyone can offer.
