Cutting long sheets straight

I am curious how people do this.  I have an exacto miter box, in fact two, one that will hold about 2" wide strips and one that will hold about 1 1/2".  One is plastic and came with a finer razor saw, the other uses a bigger and less fine razor saw.

When you want to cut something down though that is long but wider than will fit in a mitre box, how is the best way to do it?  I've been trying several ways and I have gotten pretty good, but I wish there were something more like a  miter box or guide for longer cuts.

What is the maximum grade you would consider in hidden staging for a train this size?

R,G,B Color Components Of Santa Fe Structures Question.

I'm trying to to find the chromatic components R,G,B (red, green, blue) for Santa Fe structures, for a printed building project.  Does anyone know the RGB values for the yellow siding, green trim, and red roofs?
