How to Disassemble Bachmann HO Silver Series Covered Hopper?
I'm in the process of modifying my rolling stock to meet NMRA weight standards and I need to add some weight to two Bachmann HO Silver Series Covered Hoppers. I'm new to this process and can't figure out how to completely separate the car body from the base to add the weights inside. Atlas O dimension question
Quick question, folks..
How thick are the walls of the Atlas O scale 40' box car? Alternately, how wide is the gap between the sides? I'm designing a piece to fit between the sides and convert the box car into a caboose, and I need to know the inside dimension so that the piece will fit properly.
