Ship loading of grain
Looking for pictures of grain loading facilities into ships. I'm building a large export grain facility and have the rail unloading side done along with silo's . Need pictures of the conveyor system and loading shutes that move the grain from silo to ship. Haven't found anything other than very far away shots that show little detail. -- Thanks , Ken
Railserve Beverage Bottling Facility, Update #6
Another short 2 weeks home before the holidays went by too fast. I took some time re-letter, safety stripe and weather some corn syrup cars. With all of the supplies out I continued onto some structures.

Planning city scenes on slopes/hillsides
Happy holidays to all. I'm looking for a good tutorial, suggestions, pointers, etc. about planning and installing city scenes on slopes/hillsides. I'd like to include buildings, stores, streets and sidewalks that are on hillsides as part of some of the urban located elements of my layout. I've found lots of articles, videos, articles, etc.
Modeling a Herd of Nodding Donkeys
i would like to model 2 or 3 oil pump jacks on an area of my layout. Probably in a farmers field. This is in HO scale.
Small towns at an angle
Wondering if any of you have a town on your layout thats situated at an angle to the benchwork. I have always built my towns running parallel to the benchwork and wanted to try something different. Maybe a main street running at 45 degrees or something similar. If anyone has such a town would you mind sharing some pictures or ideas on how best to construct it.
Tis the season to make a little diorama
I made this little winter scene from a piece salvaged from a previous layout. It is a derelict Irving gas station. I just can't bring myself to get rid of the structures from a previous layout that I have no use for on my new layout. I think the third shot best depicts ambient light coming from a street lamp.
The Cats Are GONE!!!
I have been away from the hobby for a bit, due to family. Our daughter returned home to finish college, We support all our children in their endeavors. Unfortunately she came with two cats. We love our daughter, not so much the cats.
Building White Metal Model Vehicles
I'm looking for a video... and maybe someone here can help. (The Professor usually has information like this)
Anyway, I have a stack of white metal vehicle models... "Woodland Scenics", "Wheel Works", and the newest one I just got is a "Gould Fire Engine" wagon made by "Scale Structures Ltd." back in 1976 (according to the well yellowed instruction sheet)
