Paint Formula

I am trying to find a formula for the following ATSF paint colors.

Mineral Brown

Bronze Green

Colonial Yellow

ATSF Shingles

ATSF Historical Society has paint mixes for Floquil, but... So I am looking for option that folks may be using. I have access to True Color, Vallejo or a variety of different craft paints either Hobby Lobby or Wall Mart. The model I am painting is the American Model Builders Santa Fe No.1 Standard Station. Kit # 802

any help would be appreciated.

Keeping A Drill Bit Plumb (Vertical)

Not sure if I titled this right, but here goes....

Need some advice/help on how to keep a drill bit plumb (or vertical) when drilling through foam/benchwork.

Here's the deal...  I have 2" of foam on top of a hardboard surface (supported by 1x3 gridwork).  My layout is entirely flat  urban/industrial, etc.  In a city portion, I want to install streetlights.  I have a devil of a time keeping the drill it plumb (perpendicular) to street/sidewalk surface.

Looking for HO Storage Shed

https://www.leonardusa.com/barns-and-barn-style-sheds#MiniBarn

Has anyone seen one of these style of sheds in HO scale? I found one but it was square and I was looking for longer than wider. Thought for sure it would be an easier laser project. Thanks.

N&W Pocahontas District: Scenery Phase III

My last blog about the scenery on my layout grew to over 20 pages, so I figured it was time to start another post. As before, this will continue the coverage of my ongoing scenery work.

Thanks for following along!

New Shipper on the NOGNRR

This structure just came off of my workbench about a month ago.  All of the surface detail is not yet in, but I thought I'd post another shot of the building.  Glockner's is entirely scratch built.  The Crescent Lines ice reefer spotted at the building is a custom car produced by the Crescent City Model Railroad Club in New Orleans a number of years ago.

Your suggestions please - making a brick road in HO scale

Good evening all,

I have several areas that need to have brick roads / parking lots on my HO scale layout. I have some of the Plasti-struct brick sheets. Before I use those, I thought I'd see if anyone had other suggestions on modeling brick for streets.

Thanks in advance!

Getting some perspective on my backdrop

I'm about to start the backdrop for the second part of my layout, and there are two areas where I'd like to use perspective to get certain effects.  For this part of the layout, I want it to look like it's in a narrow-ish valley, with the mountains close by.

The first section of perspective is behind where the logging camp will be going.  I want it to look as though the valley is widening slightly behind the logging camp, and continuing along in a different direction.  At the moment, it looks like this:
