Filling in a big gap with a large kitbashed building flat
Downtown Freemantle has a pretty big gap in the scenic backdrop. We need to fill it up somehow, and what better way than a kitbashed building flat?!
So here's the "before" picture:

Richlawn RR V2 - Scott Perry's scratch built team track ramp
Do you know what is cooler than having your own scratch built structure on your layout? - Having a scratch built structure made by a good friend! In my case it was my friend Scott Perry who is an excellent modeler and general wise-guy.
rail/marine, N scale
Does anyone have plans or models for N scale car float. I am aware that Walters has it in HO, but was wondering about N. Could use some information on tugs also.
Thanks

Grain Elevator Progress
Spent some time today working on the grain mill and elevator anchoring the east end of my 22nd Street Secondary.
First some construction background: the headhouse is scratcbuilt from .030 styrene overlain with .020 strips to simulate a more substantial frame. The silos are 2-3/8" PVC pipe with a .030 styrene roof. The gallery (running across the top of the silos) is Evergreen metal-siding styrene, as is most of the loading/unloading shed.
Using Sculptamold
I recently constructed a mountain on my layout. I overlaid the framework with Woodland Scenics plaster cloth followed by Sculptamold after it had cured. I am pleases with the appearance of it, but my question is; was Sculptamold a good material to use? I have read both positive and negative comments about the use of it on the Internet. I would like to hear the comments of others who may have used it.
Round house/turntable question
Has anyone ever put an Atlas round house with a Walters 90ft turntable? These are the items I have and need to work with but I'm not sure how it can be done. Any ideas? Thanks.
Parks Coal Shed
Nearing completion of the Parks Coal Shed. This is a scratch-built structure based upon the remaining prototype in Thornbury. I used engraved wood siding from Monster Modelworks, strip lumber from Mount Albert and Plastruct corrugated roofing material.
