MRH Website general discussion

Website maintenance
I'm going to be doing some editing on the back issue pages of MRH, deleting some dead links and whatnot.
So expect to see a lot of back issue posts showing up in the Recent Posts.
AR1 problems
I see a reference in the last post to the AR1 reversing loop having its own power connection. This is
not shown on the instruction diagram. The only connection show is from the AR1. Please verify.

Hey Joe, moderators or whoever may know...
Isn't it possible to edit, condense and re-title my blog? If so how? If nothing else, I'd love to be able to change the title from "noah_count's blog" to the current name of my railroad. Some of the old post in it are pertinent to what I'm doing now and some may not be. I'd love to save the pertinent photos and post without having to start all over.
Keeping A Drill Bit Plumb (Vertical)
Not sure if I titled this right, but here goes....
Need some advice/help on how to keep a drill bit plumb (or vertical) when drilling through foam/benchwork.
Here's the deal... I have 2" of foam on top of a hardboard surface (supported by 1x3 gridwork). My layout is entirely flat urban/industrial, etc. In a city portion, I want to install streetlights. I have a devil of a time keeping the drill it plumb (perpendicular) to street/sidewalk surface.

Your suggestions please - making a brick road in HO scale
Good evening all,
I have several areas that need to have brick roads / parking lots on my HO scale layout. I have some of the Plasti-struct brick sheets. Before I use those, I thought I'd see if anyone had other suggestions on modeling brick for streets.
Thanks in advance!

New age for permanent magnet to uncouple Kadee and clone couplers
These are like seasons, many topic speak about uncoupler and how to do it; I already published some months ago a topic after this clever use of permanent magnet;
Because of the coming back of such discussion I bring back the topic.
A few years ago, a good friend of me, was in the way to install permanent Kadee Magnet uncoupler on his layout.
He made a mistake when putting one in place, but this mistake was in fact like an "EUREKA".
Suggestion: Differentiate MRH from Running Extra postings
Seeing the long list of new eZine postings today in the recent posts view I notice there is no way to tell without clicking on it wether a post is for MRH or Running Extra. And clicking on a bunch of running extra links only to see that you can’t see it gets old fast (I probably will buy a running extra subscription eventually but I haven’t yet).
How about using a different Author (MRH-RE maybe?) to post the running extra ones? Or put something in the subject?

There is an MRH wiki?
Back in late 2016, we launched the MRH Wiki. Yes, MRH has a wiki!
However, to do a wiki right, we need some resources and volunteers dedicated to it along with some MRH staff oversight. Given the lack of resources we've had since the 2016 ad peak and ad erosion since then, finances have been tight and we've left the wiki on the back burner.
With the launch of Running Extra, we're hoping to finally have some financial resources to pay for staff time to oversee the wiki along with getting help from volunteers.
