Over the years I've seen bits of information about making turnouts more DCC "friendly." Unfortunately I didn't keep an index of those articles. Any help identifying those information sources would be greatly appreciated.

Cataloguing Software -   what does one suggest for Cataloguing your engines and rolling stock. You can keep it all in your head but I want to photograph before and after weathering, list the weights, what I bought when and where. Any suggestions I was thinking excel then I saw you can get onenote templates.    

Did I miss the announcement on the winners of the layout design contest in the single or double garage? I thought it was a good idea and I also had submitted an entry.
