What happens (doe not happen) when you clich on a persons name and then click on their 'recent blog entries'?
Isn't that suppose to reveal some of their recent activity on the forum? I just get a blank page in most instances.
Where to start a layout build thread
If one were to start a layout build thread, would it be best to start it as a topic or as a blog?

Photos from other forums ?
I just received this 'private message' this morning
It has come to our attention that the images you post on your threads are also hosted on the same outside Forum you have been warned about linking to.
Your threads containing these images will be deleted, and no further posts that link to outside forums in any way will be approved.

Censorship on the Forums
Here is how it started,...
About a week ago I had a moderator on another train forum delete some postings I placed a subject thread I had started on their forums, Logging Locos, Logging Trackplan etc
I did not see that I had violated their rules, so I started a new subject thread over there, "Censorship on the Forums". That subject thread was immediately LOCKED so no other person could voice their opinions.

XtrackCAD AND Raspberry Pi
This thread is intended to give and receive help in using XtrackCAD and the Raspberry Pi family of computers. It NOT intended to address either XtrackCAD or Raspberry Pi individually. It is hoped that it will allow the discussion of problems/resolution/tips/etc. to allow the combination of the two to be a happy and productive one.

Site hickup
We had a site hickup from about noon to 12:15 PDT.
We were testing around site ads and ad blocking, but we broke the site accidentally.
It's back now, sorry for the oops!
For those folks modeling loaded cars, here's a link to a page full of info on that topic!
This topic came in yesterday on a Union Pacific "Track Record" eMail:
https://www.up.com/customers/track-record/tr061819-art-of-loading.htm
It talks about the "Art of Loading a Rail Car" and has some links to good reference material.
"Weekly registered reader email" thanks
To the staff who creates the "Weekly registered reader" emails... thank you :-)
Today's photo got my attention with the hilarious tagline "no it's not a model". That coupler looks so much like a kaddie...
