I am looking for ideas on using Mountains in Minutes styrofoam castings. Surprisingly, a Google search didn't give me many leads, so who uses them? How do you use them ? In other words, do you use them as small outcroppings or do you try to blend a bunch of them together? How do you blend them together?

I just picked up a Model Masterpieces Ltd. 130' Roundhouse off of ebay. The model came with three double sided instruction pages and one 18 x 24 full size drawing. I was wondering if anyone has built this kit and if there were any additional instruction sheets?

I suspect no since this is an old kit, 1981 era. Not a problem if that's all there is for instructions, I'll figure it out. 

I want to paint my N-scale track.  I want to mimic the orange-brown rust color of rail on the Norfolk Southern in the eastern US.

What color(s) would you suggest I use?  I expect that spray painting will be most effective. 

After that what color should I use for the ties?  These are creosote treated on the NS trackage.  I expect to paint those with a brush.
