Hi All,
Latest video update from the JL&T...

Jerry's Hoboken RR
Here is the progress on my friend Jerry's O scale 2 Rail layout. Last night I laid the water on the pier/barge docking area while he was installing a sound decoder in my "Little Joe" Dockside.
The barge and the tower are all scratchbuilt by Jerry.
Here is a different view of the waterfront
Finally ... some more progress
Due to family and work commitments reaching their peak in the christmas period not alot has happened on the railroad. I have however managed to kitbash my locomotive servicing structure.
Custom HO Diesel Model Painting - Anyone Out There Do It?
I am looking for someone that does custom painting and has a reputation for doing an excellent job. I have many engines in HO scale that I want to get painted in the Frisco black and yellow paint scheme and the orange and while paint scheme depending upon the model.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

More benchwork for the G&AM
I have filled half of my layout room now. 31 shop lights are up and running. Two of the four peninsulas have been constructed.
I'm glad that I could keep my aisle width at a 40' minimum, it makes walking around so much easier.
Great Western Trunk & Pacific
I started my layout about a year ago, and it has now reached the stage where I feel I can start sharing a little ;-)
I made a free website at wix.com that shows a bit of an overview of the layout. http://www.wix.com/kengoudsward/gwtp
And just now decided that I'll do a bit of blogging as I go. Projects underway at the moment:
- custom paintjobs, decals and weathering for a few locos
Conference Room Shelf Layout
With inspiration from another newbie who posted today, I decided to start a blog regarding a recent modeling project in my office. I am a CPA, it's already the crazy tax season, and over the last year or so, I began this layout.
Ten mile creek trestle build
Hi Joe,
A while back now, I've purchased the downloadable series of your scenery build series, based on Ten mile Creek.
One of the subjects I was interested in watching was how you construct the trestle. I've also got the plans and found several of the dimensions on it. I also heard you mention several of the dimensions in the video.
However, I can't seem to find some of these in the catalog of Evergreen, particularly the larger sizes. Have they stopped making them, or am I making a mistake?
Alcove Expansion - Turnout control installation
This post may seem basic by many modeler, but I wanted to share the process I have for installing my fascia mounted turnout control panels. This is just one of may methods that could be used and I use this method because 1.) I don't know any better; and 2.) It works.
