SCENERY WITH FOAM & CAL COAT 127 VIDEO DEMO

This is my frist how to video, first sorry about the close up of the right arm.  Will improve on that.  Not something I could go back and reshoot very easy. I think that I got the demo across and that is what is important.  I will have a part two that will take you to the finish. Open article for more links.

A Fictional History - Part I / White Water Western, 1878 - 1895

Planning for a free-lanced model railroad may seem pretty straight forward, just come up with a name, a general locale, and a track plan. I've always envied prototype modelers since they have a set history to follow so I decided to have a history of my own. Our model railroad will depict two free-lanced pikes; the White Water Western, a mining turned regional line, and the Arizona Pacific, a Class I line traversing Arizona and southern California. Here is my start on the history of these two lines.

Some inspiration for New Zealand modellers - KA942 photos

For the Kiwi steam fans out there (and others),

KA 942 came thundering through town the other weekend on her tour of the south island. I waited in the biting wind for 45 mins (she was running late) to see her on her way to Invercargill. The rain held off till she came into view but then alas the heavens opened. I'm still pleased with the photos though.

Enjoy

I will attempt to answer your questions in this format:

The WIHLA Railroad

I am excited to start sharing what I have been doing with my cubicle, trains, and 'what I had lying around' (hence, WIHLA)! I have started a small blog here:  www.digitaltrainlab.com

E.St.LRG RS-1

To All:

To All: I blanked out the heralds on the ends and Chesapeake & Ohio on the long hood, relettered to EStLRG, kept the number, weathered and dullcoated the unit. The rational behind this is the C&O RR had a controlling interest in the EStLRG RR and transferred this unit to that road. Yours, Elvin Howland/E.St.Louis Rail Group Layout
