AR 1 Part 2
OK, before I go back and purchase the other device previously suggested, I'm willing to listen to some suggestions to try and salvage what I have. The AR is supposed to control a Wye from my West Yard back to the main which curves around behind the yard returning Eastbound and thus, changing polarity.
The wiring drops from the main line and the Wye are set up correctly according to the instruction sheet and a drawing from the previous posting responses. Here is my problem:
Fraser Surrey Docks August 1999
A friend and I visited Fraser Surrey Docks in Surrey BC in August 1999 and got more than I bargained for. This is a nice compact operation that might be perfect for a small switching layout:
Keeping paint mixed, A roll your own solution!
It's been a long time since I have had time to work on anything related to modelling, but last week I started a mass cleanup of my hobby workspaces so I could do some modelling again.
In the process of cleaning up, I discovered a lot of my hobby paint was gummed up and solidified. :(
I have a hobby paint shaker that works great. It was my intent to use it regularly to keep the paint mixed, and prolong the paint's life, but as with many things, seemingly small jobs that take a lot of effort don't happen.
Just checking in....
Been a good while since I posted, thought I check in instead of lurking in the background.....
Finally got some time from new house chores and built the chainsaw layout I need to test equipment and try new things. Well, the benchwork is bad, I guess its been awhile since I've built any, and boy did my skills atrophy! I'll blame the repurposed lumber and bad tools, yeah that's it, that's the ticket.....First time I've built benchwork since 1994, need to bone up on things.
Deer Hunting at the Copper King Mine.
We are looking for deer at the Copper King Mine, this is a fun thing for young visitors at my layout, trying to spot all the deer. Deer at Bingham Canyon mine, the photo with deer and the mine in the background is from Facebook Bingham Canyon History a Gerald Mikich post.
First Prints: On3/On30 boxcar.
For the last several days I've been printing like a mad lad for an upcoming large product, but there was some filament at the end of my first 1kg roll that needed to be used up. Rather than waste it or save a bunch of scrap filament, I decided to test out some new part files designed on Fusion 360. Honestly, I'm quite happy with the results of this testing!
