Light Soffit from Gatorfoam

I recently added 28 feet of soffit to my N Scale Mooers Junction Railroad. I constructed one 13 1/2 foot section ( weighing 22 lbs) with a truss assembly that lets me rest on my backdrop on one end and molding on the other. The other 15 foot section uses no framing and weighs less than 10 lbs. This also is constructed without attaching to the apartment walls.

1900 models - or a little bit older

Three new models in my stock ...

... old time 27' drop bottom gondolas of NYO&W where the prototypes were built in 1890.
Nice models but with need of some repairs and additions.

R&T Rwy. is getting order boards

Been thinking that it would be nice to have some order boards at the stations on the Ruphe and Tumbelle Rwy. that can be operated by other engineers down the line to indicate that a train is not running on time. This is not prototypical, I know, but we have neither station agents or a dispatcher so I figured this would be a neat way to request that orders be picked up. Orders here basically being, talking to the other trainman and figuring out where to meet, when etc.

BLUE RIDGE & SOUTHERN RAILROAD

Outstanding model railroad built and operated by Doug Farner in Northwest, AK.  This model railroad is part of a group called Hograils.  In the coming months I will post videos of most of the current and pass model railroads in this operations group.  I will create a playlist on my YT Channel for these railroads under the title. of HOGRAILS.

Contemplating Noyes again on the BNML

Opinions wanted...

Operationally, at Noyes MN, the CPR crosses the CNR and junctions with the BNSF.

Generally speaking there has been no interchange traffic at Noyes between the BNSF and CPR for many years. Although it has happened, only recently and only once that I have heard, that a BNSF train on it's way to Winnipeg has used the Junction and traversed the CP line instead of taking the BNLM trackage on it's way to the big smoke.
