Here is a short clip of a train arriving Colwell.

ATSF Paradigm Division - Staging Level Construction Update 1
Latest update on the construction of the N-scale ATSF Paradigm Division (see my previous April 2014 blog item to see the track plans). UPDATED with new pictures and video on 17 April and 27 April.
The physical construction of the staging level, that is, supporting benchwork, roadbed (I use it even in staging yards) and track were completed on 16 December 2013.

new photos
Here are some new photos of my layout. I am posting from my phone need to post them as attachments.

ATSF Paradigm Division Track Plans
I thought that I had posted the track plans at one time but I guess that I had not since I could not find them on the blog. So here they are.
The overall size of the N-scale layout is 24' 11" x 15' 4". Minimum aisle width is 36". The layout is located in a dedicated outbuilding.
Sound player
I've found a nice gadget - a little sound player. It can be used as a portable sound player if the loco is without sound or as a stationary sound player for example at a grade crossing: http://kleinbahnwiki.de/index.php/SoundFRED
The Factory Diorama--the start, requesting thoughts, and new pic--some paint
This is a planned diorama/photo site for a variety of railroad equipment. The factory is composed of DPM sections, and represents one end of the building. It might later become a flat on my railroad It’s 4 stories tall, with car spots for 3 40 foot boxcars; the middle door is extra-large to allow for oversized machinery. I have a few other sections that I could swap out with what's shown here. I don't as yet know what the factory makes--could be anything appropriate to Maine.

THE PUEBLO DIV 1954-HO 2014
This is John Mc Bees layout. He is another part of Hograils in AR. as of 4-2014. I have also posted a short video as of 2012. I will add many more to this group of train operators in NW AR.
