BQR Control Panel Mark II continued

I have been working with the panel for some weeks now, sorted out a couple of electrical issues. Played with it enough to realize that while my basic idea was sound, some of the LED placements were suboptimal. Essentially I had been struggling with how to signal the thing -- on a layout this small probably overkill but it did provide some measure of idiot-proofing for areas that were obscured from the command location. Anyhow, it has been fun and is starting to make some sort of sense.

The Dying age of children in model railroading (by a 13 year old child)

I have noticed a dying amount of railoraders in magazines and just in general. In my school I am the only person into railroading and sadly get made fun of for it. I will be working on a blog with short entries each day consisting of my experiences and ways to get people interested.

Cool Shelving Unit

This is a good storage tool you can use a lego tile on top of a lego plate with a two stud gap in the middle example if you use a 4x8 plate you should put the tiles on either edge. Go to this link- http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Pick-A-Brick-ByTheme and search for 4x8 plates and 1x8 flat tiles (those are the largest possible) I recommend layering the plates to make a strong base but it can be as long as you want.

Encourage new modelers

If we are going to get more people into model railroading, some myths need to be dispelled. One is that it is an expensive hobby.
