Frustrated

Hey everyone.

Santa Fe caboose cupola, Red, Yellow, White, Black?

Wherever they may roam and call home.

I have a good idea why,  after doing some reserch.  But it never hurts to ask and see what you get.

He built a crooked house

I've been working on a Builders in Scale 630 Elm street for several months, in between coding binges and other chores. It is finally finished, or at least ready to be put aside until installation on the layout. (It will be at the front, so must be installed last.) Here is the realtors' view:

Quick Introduction...

Hi All,

Been lurking here at MRH for many years and enjoy reading the site. I'm about to start a few different sections of a new layout at home and thought I'd "blog" the updates here since the feedback and interaction is part of what makes it fun. But first I figured I'd do a quick intro of where I came from and where I (think) I'm going. :)

Tempera Paint - Not just for Posters ?

I have run across Tempera paint again in my local Hobby Lobby...it is very inexpensive...about $1.25 for 16 oz. I have read all about powdered tempera, even saw Joe use it and his formula in one or two of his videos, but I am curious if anyone has ever used it in this liquid form ? I searched the MRH forum and came up again with uses of the powdered form...but nothing on the liquid.

A Mining Loco for the Bradford Valley Lumber Company (On30 Scratch-Bash)

I recently decided to add a mining train to my layout, in order to provide a bit more operational interest.  At the moment, there's no 'through traffic' on the layout.  My trains originate at Camp A, then go to either Camps B or C (in staging) or Camp D (on the other side of the layout).  As such, I've decided to expand the backstory of the BVLC slightly, as follows.
