I use LDE's on my layout, but in a different way. You can read about this here.
Northshore New Orleans Area Modelers Community
Twice in the last few years I have “accidentally” discovered other model railroaders living in this area who were otherwise unknown to the local model railroad community. If anyone reading this post is living on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain in Southeast Louisiana and would like to get to know fellow modelers in the area, please feel free to contact me using the Private Messaging function and I will respond to your email message.
My Old Friend Victor D'Albora
While my latest video is getting so much attention, I wonder if perhaps you could take an inspiring look at someone who was a major influence in my life both as a model railroader and as a man. My old friend Victor D'Albora
They say you never stand so tall as when you stoop to help another, and Vic was almost 6'4" when he stooped for me almost 40 years ago, in a small hobby store in Haverstraw NY (See Model Railroader Dec 2018 Trains of Thought.)

Air Eraser
Pulled out my Harbor Freight air eraser (model #69277) to start weathering a few cars. Cool tool EXCEPT the tip clogs on average about every 5-10 seconds so I spend more time removing it and blowing it out than erasing. Despite that it puts a nice effect on lettering. I’ve been using HF air eraser compound with decent results. Would like to try baking soda too.
Working on the grand layout update video
Hi! :) It´s that time of the year to make a summary of the progress on the model railroad. I´m just filming the last scenes in the "Annual layout update video", which will be released on December 28, 13:00 CET. See you!
