2018 IRR Year in Review (warning: boring blog post)
Going into 2018 I didn’t have a list of specific goals, just generally expanding the layout down to the end of the room, but looking back at the year there’s been pretty good progress on the layout:
Layout progress in 2018
It is the end of 2018 and looking back on the year I made a lot of progress on the layout.
Traveling around the USA looking at, running and taking pictures of some Model Railroads in 2019.
Hi All,
I’m at it again this year. No more shoveling snow (and hopefully very little coal.)
BSME to relocate
The Baltimore Society of Model Engineers has been given their 90 day notice to vacate their location at 225 W. Saratoga street, Baltimore, Maryland after 66 years!
Due to this and the power issues we experienced in November we will not be holding any more open houses and will be concentrating on packing and relocation.
We have three locations we are already looking into as a possible new home.
Ending 2018 -Work in Progress
Ending 2018 with a few “Work-in-Progress” projects.

Why won't static grass work for me?
I made an aplicator out of a fly swatter, and the grass is somewhat standing up, but it won't all stand up and look like grass. What gives?
Experimenting With Static Grass
I have been experimenting with static grass. You can read about it here.
