What A Great Time to Have a Model RR.
At 74 and most of my friends past 65 and with CV19 and now State of La is gone on shut down. Great to have the RR. Always have some thing to do and share. Video of the group last Friday's Club meeting 10:30 until 4PM .

Model miniature BoatHouses and Harbour Lanterns
Hi! I scratch built a row of BoatHouses from for my marina. These small boathouses is commonly used to store fishing equipment and assesories in my area. A now empty beer can made the foundation for the harbour lantern. It all came together in a short video. I hope you like it. WIsh you all a great weekend!
POVA on the Cover of a Magazine
A friend in the hobby pointed me to the February issue of Railfan & Railroad where the POVA is featured on the cover of the magazine! The article itself is very cool and very informative. I learned a lot I did not know about the railroad's history. I also finally got a good, clear sense of day-to-day operations on the modern POVA railroad.
Ready to create the LPG Transloading Facility
Track is weathered, sanded and tested, now it’s time to work on the first 6’ section. Closest 6’ section upper two tracks will be an LPG Transloading Facility based on the pictures included. Have all the items necessary and look forward to seeing the finished product.
The Mud Bay & Western #5 - Fastening Down the Upper Deck
The previous post saw us roughing in the skyboards and backdrop support. This had to be done before the benchwork was fastened down because in some areas the benchwork (door slabs) are what hold the lower edge of the skyboard to the wall. Now that the skyboards are in, we can begin fastening down the door slabs.

TCS - UWT-100 WiThrottle First Impressions
The new TCS Withrottle UWT-100 Wifi/LCC enabled throttle arrived last week. This throttle was advanced ordered during the NMRA-Mid East Region convention in October 2019. Black Train Room Ceiling?
While looking online at Home Depot, I discovered that black 2' x 2' ceiling tiles and suspension grid components are available. Would this look better in my model railroad room than white?
