Styrene supplier in central Florida
I want to purchase some 48" x 96" x .60 white styrene sheets and have looked on Google and Yellow Pages for my central Florida area and haven't been able to locate a source. I'm willing to drive up to 50 miles to pick up the material. I found a number of web supplies but shipping was prohibitive. Thanks.
Scale Model Animation 5 – Building Building Animation
Model animation—bringing models to life—adds enormously to the interest and enjoyment of any layout or individual model! We notice things when they move, and we often notice things only when they change. But change can also be sensed in light intensity, patterns, color, and sound. Let’s see what can bring an otherwise static building to life.

Progress report on Micro Engineering bridge project.....finally some scenery too
It's not much scenery, just stark white plaster, but since scenery is my favorite part of the hobby, anything is better than nothing. I finally made enough progress on my 210 ft. ME Tall Steel Viaduct that I feel I can post some shots. Took me forever to get this far.....
Doodlebug coming to the Richlawn RR V2?
Well, I may have lost my mind....but it's my mind (and railroad). On my new (and still developing) track plan I've got a stretch about 11 ft long between two towns and I thought "why not run a Doodlebug back and forth as a excursion?" It just so happens that Walthers had the unit shown below on closeout sale so I picked it up along with an AR2 auto reverser unit. The unit is DCC (no sound) and features lighted interior.
N scale Ontario Midland in Sodus, NY with no selective compression.
The purpose of this blog is to document the building of my N scale Free-moN module. It will be an exact 1:160 copy of the prototype (or as close as I can reasonably get!)
The prototype is a small shortline railroad based in Sodus, NY, the Ontario Midland Railroad; which I will refer to by it's reporting mark of OMID. The railroad is headquartered in Sodus, and there is a small yard, which I can model without any selective compression in sixteen feet.
Here is a link to Sodus on Google Maps:
