Scale lumber

Today, to my surprise, I found some scale lumber from an old box I neglected for a few years.

2 X 16
4 x 8
2 x 12
6 x 6
8 x 8
2 x 14
4 x 4
2 x 4

I need some help on what these sizes would be used for.

I'm guessing 4 x 4 and 6 x 6 could be used as fence posts?

I can't imagine what 2 x 16 would be used for in HO scale.

Glacial till embankment

Has anyone on this forum modeled a scene with a railway track alongside a glacial till embankment?

If so, please show.

I just saw on Lance Mindheim's blog ( http://www.lancemindheim.com/blog.htm ) that you were there for a visit and Op. Session!  I'm so excited for you!

Please, tell us about your visit...

Matt

What is this part?

I dug out this old kit (one of two that I have) that I want to finish today, but I lost the instructions.

Does any one know what these little black parts are for?

Model railcast shows past episodes

Does anyone know how to get past episodes of this show?  There only seem to be 10 on itunes and the website.
