Amusing Signs along the road.

I thought I would start something here.  I think we did this in the past. For guys modeling buildings these might give you some ideas for prototype signs.

I'm sorry I didn't get a snap shot of it.  A friend and I were traveling out of Hot Springs, Arkansas.  I think we were in the community of Bismark on Route 7.  There was a bar with a roadside sign. I don't remember the name of the bar, but under the name it said, "Adult Day Care."

Problem with a advertiser

Really want to flame these guys, but I will restrain myself and just put the facts out there.

Really needed two PSX-AR's for the club modules and ordered them Tuesday morning.  Past shipments from these folks have in the past been pretty quick so I went with them again.

Weekly Photo Fun - September 5 to September 11

September is here! It’s time to start up a new thread so let’s share some photos!

As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!

Layouts at the Kansas City NG Convention

Here's photos from the layouts MRH has been visiting as part of the National Narrow Gauge convention layout tours in Kansas City. All the layouts in the area are on tour, not just the NG ones.

Snapshots From Thursday Kansas City NNGC 2014

These pics are from Thursday during the National Narrow Gauge Convention, from the Contest Room and one layout I visited. They are in no particular order, nor do they represent all the models entered or even present at the time I was there.  Most if not all are just plain stunning in person. These will give you a snapshot, I'll add the rest as comments to follow. I hope you enjoy them. (Most you can click on and get the larger pic) --Geoff Bunza

Is anyone using a Silhouette cutting machine for their models?

Just curious to hear if anyone is incorporating a Silhouette cutting machine in their hobby projects? Another hobbyist mentioned the machine to me when I posted about cutting acetate for window glazing on a locomotive project I am working on. This got the hamster wheel is turning in my head.

What's going on here?

I was sent this photo with a request to know something about it.  I kind of recall seeing this somewhere before.  Can anyone supply the context for this?
