I have just discovered a product called Bloxygen (as "block oxygen) that is intended to greatly extend the pot life of liquid paints, glues, varnishes, etc. I found it at a Rockler store it but seems to be widely avaiable. It is basically Argon gas in an aerosol can that you spray into the bottle and then cap it. Since it is heavier than air it doesn't want to escape easily and settles to the bottom and displaces the air in the seconds before getting the cap on.

I'm curious about the pros and cons of the the new Tsunami2 Digital Drive Exhaust feature and the Loksound Drive Hold. I have not used either at this point but will soon like to upgrade older Gen one decoders I have. I've read a bit about the Drive Hold,which seems more hands on when running a train. From what I've read so far about the DDE of the Tsunami2,it appears this is a program one time then it runs in the background automatically giving the same effect as Drive Hold. Am I correct in my belief? If not,how far off base am I? 

Since so many are going DCC, does anyone have a CAMA transistor throttle they would like to sell reasonable?  N gage please.  Building layout, too many good DC engines to change, many can not go DCC, so I am stuck for help.

Hi all. I am hoping someone can help with finding an article on painting windows on road vehicles. The article covered modelling a Walthers  maintenance ute  and the effect was to simulate reflection on a glass windscreen using a dark blue paint and silver . Can't remember for sure what publication it was in. I initially photocopied it from our local library around 3-5 yrs ago and thought it was in Model Railroader, but a search through their index dosen't bring anything up.
