Weekly Photo Fun - May 13th to May 19th, 2016
Awesome work everyone last week! Time to start of this week's photo thread!
As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!

Before and after
Some time ago someone posted a before and after blog.
Choosing the scale for a CCT layout.
Hi All, I got the shops benchwork up last week so now I'm placing cars and shops building on the site (Cherokee lane ,Stockton Ca. if anyone wants to look it up on google earth) to help me decide on the scale to use. I took a few photos of S scale and HO scale equipment along with cardboard mock ups of the shops buildings. I'll post them separately so the page can load faster....DaveB

Weekly Photo Fun - 7-13 May 2016
Photos please. Finished, unfinished, or something in between.

Hummm I wonder why I like Hobby Lobby - and Jo Anns Fabrics?
Messing around today at Hobby Lobby and picked up some oven bake clay for tree trunks. I wonder why I like this store so much? (grin)

Site of Interest
I just came across this site and thought it might be of interest to folks modeling specific dates or date ranges. It's called OnThisDay.com. You can find some interesting info for any dates you choose. Factoring history into the plan can bring greater relevance to operations and it's a great source for modeling ideas that could make the difference between a nice scene and a great scene.

Jeff

Whats on your workbench May edition
I did not see one for May so I thought I would start one.
Almost complete on the Fine Scale Miniatures Engine House. I installed LED lighting inside and added some additional machinery and the electrical conduits and panel. I just have to install the roof and doors and it will be ready to install it in the Port Jervis yard.
