American Models vs Stanton Drive S Scale
I'm looking at the American Models GP35 or U25B as a starting point in S scale. I'm not finding much about them for how well they operate. Does anyone know if the S scale Stanton drive has good slow operating characteristics? I like the idea of the empty shell for better speakers and such ( possibly going with a radio and battery backup system ). However, if I use them but don't know if they'll operate smoothly like I want them to. This will be on a switching layout so I don't need or expect to be blasting around at 70mph.

My Lucky Day!
The big exhibition in this area is the Annual OK City show held every December. While I was there last year I entered the Broadway Limited Models raffle and, you guessed it, I won!
My prize was a beautiful Pennsylvania Railroad L1s Class 2-8-2. Such Detail and Great sound too!
Luckily I am a Pennsy modeler albeit a late '67 era version, I guess I can run a nostalgia train!

What rolling stock and/or vehicles would you like to see that haven't been made?
What rolling stock and/or vehicles would you like to see that haven't been made? I love historical research! Especially on topics that people don't normally learn about. I am also good with graphic design. I have even designed my own prototypically accurate decals for some models. I have already finished the decals and research but not design for the Boeing skybox. I would love to learn about some rolling stock or vehicles I didn't know about before. Currently pending research and design are:
A generic large lumber distributor
4 lane interstate highway
Is there a ho scale 4 lane highway with a divider between the 2 lanes, or do you have to combine 2 lane highways? Thank you.

Walther ho catalog 2017
Where can I get a new Walther HO 2017 catalog. Not in stock everywhere I looked.Thanks.

Highway Bridge Construction Techniques - 1940's timeline
Hey All,
I'm getting to a point where I will be starting some scenery work on my HOn3 empire, specifically at my Chama River bridge area. I will be 'creating' a scene where the Highway 17 road bridge will actually be near the D&RGW Chama River bridge. I thought that this might be nice to incorporate a different scene to the layout.

Weird question about MBKlein Shipping.
This is a strange question. Has anyone had stuff shipped by MB Klein? Do they usually ship from Hawaii? I ordered something from them the other day and I keep getting USPS notifications of a parcel on its way to me from Hawaii. I just find it odd is all.

Scott Perry's very interesting idea on a "Living" railroad using Arduino
This is from Scott Perry's blog and very interesting. It's a bit of read, but worth it. Scott is a close friend of mine and his idea may revolutionize model railroading. What do you think? Please check out Scott's blog and tell him your opinion.
