Weekly Photo Fun 2-10-17 to 2-17-17
Awesome work everyone last week! Time to start this week's photo thread!
As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!
Here is My contribution for the week

Tram track
I would like to incorporate a tram system on my model railroad. Can someone advise recommended radius for tram track for various wheelbase trams including dual bogie trams?

Do you want to talk about Realistic Palm Trees for our layouts?
**I Posted this at the Atlas R forum but apparently no one wanted to talk about Palm Trees so I will give it a shot here**
Rejuvenating ancient decals that are lifting. Any tips?
I recently acquired and older custom painted Athearn BB loco that is pretty nice for what it is, but the long PENNSYLVANIA decals on the sides are lifting from the surface so that there is open space between parts of the decals and the surfaces they are applied to. I have Micro Sol and Micro Set but have never had occasion to use them before. Would either of these cause the original decals to reconform to and bond to the surface? Or is there some adhesive material in the original decal that is simply gone?
Thanks for your suggestions.
If you could turn back time...
If you could go back in time and correct some terrible mistake, what would it be? We're not talking about saving JFK or Lincoln, here. We're talking model railroading.
Ramming Speed

None of my DC or dual mode DC/DCC locomotives will run slow. The engines just sit idle on the track until about half throttle and then they take off at ramming speed, which isn't good for a small switching layout. There are no lights or motor sounds until the loco t
Moving/Battery/Vehicles, cars
Looking for HO scale cars that can run on a highway/street at SLOW speed, battery or power other than Faller system. Magnet under road? Slot cars that run very slow? Thank you.

Insure my brass collection.
I have come to realize that I have acquired a fairly large brass collection over the past 25+ years. Looking at the price of brass these days, I have a lot of money invested in the collection.
I was thinking of insuring my collection, so I thought I would ask others how they have insured their collection. Looking at my home owners insurance, it would currently not cover any loss.
I have a few questions:
Looking for wire rope/cable. Found!
A little back ground before my question. I'm currently scratchbuilding a former Great Northern Snow Dozer in 1/29

What's on your workbench - February 2017 edition
Once again, after a hiatus in January, the question is, what's on your workbench?
