Bummer and now I'm worried

Just returned form the largest Hobby store in the extended area - Colonial Photo and Hobby in Orlando.

I took a roll of film to drop off (Yes, Joe, the photos your requested are now in for processing, I REALLY hope they turn out). and a list of items to pick up.  Now I will admit that a couple of the item were long shots, but a bottle of stain here I had purchased my last bottle?  And no specific color.

I think I bought my last Model Railroader today

Well gang,

I went to my LHS to dig through the bargain bin, but I did not find anything. Not wanting to leave empty handed, I bought the new Model Railroader magazine. The clerk rang it up and he asks for $8.55... In somewhat puzzled tone, I asked, "for what?" He told me there was a recent price increase in the magazine. So, I looked down at the cover price and was shocked that the new cover price was $7.99. YIKES !!!

Why is there a sticky for a 2011 Convention

New Format

I can understand the new format with the number of people using devices other than desktop or laptop computers.  Myself, I will stick with the landscape mode and view it on my 24" monitor where it is much easier to read for my 76 years old eyes.  Have been enjoying MRH since its beginning.  Being mainly an On3 modeler, the mag still has a lot to offer.  Thanks and keep up the good work.

newbie ? dc or dcc.

I'm just starting to plan my 4'x8' layout 1 maybe 2 lines with possibly 3 sideings. Main purpose is to showcase some of my scale model collection trains as scale models have only recently been considered. Any advise ?

Greetings

Howdy,

I just joined the magazine and forum. Thanks for this site! I've been modeling for several decades, mostly in HO but went back to my 3 rail O gauge roots about 4 years ago. Recently retired. My wife and two cats keep me busy and in-line or try to!laugh  I'll try to post some link to some photos so you'll know the nut you are now dealing with. Thanks.

Jim
