Great News Three Donations In One Day!!!!!
I just received an email from a Kato representative and they are able to donate a HO scale Metra engine. Also a local club has supplies they can donate and also the donations from David Thanks to all of them.

We Now Have Track!!! (School Club Beginnings)
After a short wait I have great news. Over the weekend I received the first donations for our school layout. They are an extremely generous amount of products from Augusta Track creator of a modular track system (website link: http://www.augustatrack.com/)

SMA17 – Cheap Flicker Free Car Lighting for DCC, DC, and AC – a New Kind of KAOS
Model animation—bringing models to life—adds enormously to the interest and enjoyment of any layout or individual model! Recently a fellow modeler (George hohon3) asked if there was a simpler and cheaper way to have flicker free car lighting in his passenger cars, without expensive keep-alive circuitry. I gave him some solutions already known in the hobby, but these were not satisfying him, nor me. I even referred him to the battery KOAS article in the November 2014 issue of MRH – but no, he wanted something simpler.
New "Just Plug" product review on TrainMasters TV - open to all!
There's a review of Woodland Scenic's new "Just Plug" LED lighting system now on TrainMasters TV.
It's open and free for all to watch (you don't need to be a member) - so come have a look. (This gives you a little taste of the kind of goodies that get posted to TMTV every month - consider becoming a member.)

Engine Problem
1st of all they really should add a help topic choice for I am sure it would be well used.
2nd of all my problem.
The locomotive in question is an all metal engine with pickups in the tender I am not sure if it is shorting but it sparks as it goes around and it stops and starts. Do you think it is something with the tender wheels? I will hopefully get pictures up soon.
QSI Quantum Engineer Controller
Has anyone used or have any experience with the QSI Quantum Engineer Controller add-on sound system, especially with DC and not DCC control? I have an MRC Controlmaster Walkaround throttle, and was wondering if it is possible to use or adapt this to my throttle?

Micro Engineering turnout issue
Ok, here's my dilemma:
Still running DC.. 1 block - 1 engine operation on a small layout…
I recently installed a Micro Engineering turnout. Unbeknownst to me, the through track of the Left turnout, leading to a spur, is dead after the frog. The frog is double gapped on both sides of the frog. I have feeders soldered to the tail track that provide power to the through track and diverting track. There are also two feeds on the other side of the diverting track. Please see diagram:

Anti-Main Power Sector
I'm building a layout with a lower level of staging that feeds an upper level of 2-track main line. The staging level is almost a dogbone, but one end terminates in a "balloon" reversing loop - see the area labeled with XX and W0. Eventually the power will be DCC, but I need to have the choice of DC to run locos that haven't yet been converted.

Adapting the "Keep Alive" for use with Railpro? - Circuit Guru's please help. - UPDATE: It Works!
I am genuinely frustrated with the performance of a few of my locomotives around my turnouts and I really want to try TCS Keep Alive's with them.
The problem is that the RailPro is not natively KA friendly.
As I understand it, if I would simply wire the KA to the power leads, it would work one way, but if the power was reversed (loco turned) then the KA will burn out.

Tortoise Control and Indication
I need some help from the electronics experts out there. I'm looking to clean up my layout wiring and want to simplify the installation of future tortoises and LEDs.
I'm using bi-color LEDs to indicate alignment of turnouts. Green indicates the route alignment of the points and red is the unaligned path.
