Broadway Limited N scale Alco PA running issues
Hey Guys I just bought this Broadway Limited Alco PA and while running it I discovered a few issues that maybe somebody can provide suggestions. Last month I also bought a BL F7B that seems to run awesome on my layout with no problems. The Alco on the other hand seems to start through a turnout and then just stops, restarts, and then continues down the line. Also there is one corner that it likes to derail for some reason. I am scratching my head on why it is doing this when I have no issues with the other broadway limited loco or any of my other Atlas locos.
MI Santa Fe - Kansas & New Mexico Divisions - HO scale
First I will update all of you on the layout design. I am modeling from Denver, CO to Albuquerque, NM (ABQ) in 1990 to 1996. In the center of this North-South run is La Junta, CO which will be the main classification yard. I am designing the layout so it will have a La Junta to Denver run (1/2 of the basement) and a La Junta to ABQ run. This is a double deck design with staging and a couple of short lines on the lower level.

With another Ops Session scheduled for Wednesday with four of our wider operating group I decided that I needed to create some form of Switch List for the guys to know what & where to spot cars.

How is this part called?
Hi @ all,
As Swiss, I'm curious how you call the part I've circled in the attached picture.
I need it and don't know what I have to look for.
It's a "bridge" between two locos, correct?
Thanks for help.

Working on the Railroad, Again.....update on the truss bridge
Well, I finally got around to finishing the bashed truss bridge so I thought I'd post photos of it before I store it away until the time comes to build the module it fits into.
A visit with Boone Morrison
My first office in Hilo (Hawaii) was on the second floor of a 1950's building with a restaurant below. Adjacent is a building that, at the time, was vacant and in need of repair but had been the headquarters of a large sugar plantation (and controlling interest in the long gone Hawaii Consolodated Railway).
