Walthers digital turntable
My neighbor has asked me to help him install his HO Walthers 130' Digital Turntable. He runs Digitraxx but does not plan to use his digital throttle for track selection.
I have several questions/concerns about this unit:
The Hudson and Hartford
At long last I sit down and write the story of my layout, the N-Scale Hudson and Hartford. It has been a long time in coming and there are still many things that need be worked out, created, designed and tested.
Signals and Train Symbols on a Shortline
As some of you may have read in the past, I am developing a fictional shortline that runs between Plainville, CT (central) and New London, CT (southeastern). I have the route planned out (in my head) and most of the industries have been visualized and their locations along the line determined. The next step for me is to figure out how trains will operate along the mainline. I am modeling "current era" in HO scale. What's between the packets?
Hi everyone,
I am a new kid to the hobby—MRH subscriber for about 4 weeks. I’ve recently retired and intend to build a small, portable, L-shaped HO layout. I have some weird ideas about designing four or five units that resemble kitchen wall cabinets... Set up the wall ledgers, then anchor the “cabinets” to each other and the wall, etc. But that’s another discussion…
A Small Switching Layout - Redux

FREMO regional meeting at Hanau 2012
Last weekend I attended the FREMO regional meeting at Hanau near Frankfurt.

New Eastbrook N-scale modules
This year I started with three N-scale modules which should represent an industrial area along a NYC mainline.

JL&T Railroad Blog - Chat Sessions
Hi All,
Will be conducting another chat session today at 1400 (2:00pm - around an hours time) AEST via Skype. This session will hopefully have a few MRH members on so we can test out Skype - Video Conferencing and have a chat about each other layouts and share some ideas.
Hope to see a few people there, I'll hopefully be able to give everyone a tour of the JL&T.
A couple photos of my layout
